Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS (C/2023 A3) in the morning sky : September 26 - October 3, 2024

September 26: Borrego Valley Airport

I flew out to Borrego Airport in the pre-dawn darkness to get a look at the long-awaited comet.

The comet is harder to see in brighter twilight as it moves closer to the sun. The clouds this morning didn't help, but they were pretty.
