August 24: Cape Scott Provincial Park

Cape Scott Provincial Park is 60 km west of Port Hardy on a rough logging road. The nice agent at Budget let me trade in my rental car for a truck with offroad tires to make the trip.

August 26: Silver Falls State Park

I joined a friend and his son for a night of camping at Silver Falls State Park, and we did a guided tree climbing experience. I made it about 200 feet up a 250-300 foot tree.
