STS-128 Discovery Ferry Flight September 20, 2009

A friend and I found the Discovery ferry flight climbing out over Barstow early Sunday morning. Unfortunately, between the photo of the Pathfinder DC-9 and the SCA, I bumped the camera setting and blew out the exposure on most of the shots. By the time I discovered the problem, the SCA was already receding into the sunrise. :(

It was an impressive sight that neither words nor these photos really do justice to.
