Monarchs in Mexico : February 9-16, 2025

Part 2 - Mexico City

February 14: Teotihuacan

I took a sunrise hot air balloon ride over Teotihuacan before a short guided tour on the ground. It was like a mini Albuqurque Balloon Fiesta with more than 50 balloons in the air! I got back to Mexico City in time for a short walk through the Bosque de Chapultepec.

February 15: Museo Nacional de Antropologia

The plan for the day was to visit the Bosque de Chapultepec. The first stop was the anthropology museum and it wound to taking up all day!

It vaguely reminds me of a cat, but is titled "Tortoise with a sail"

February 16: Museo Nacional de Historia (Chapultepec Castle)

Prior to the flight home, I had a couple hours to wander through the Chapultepec Castle. It was the residence of Emperor Maximilian and several presidents before becoming the National Museum of History in 1939.
