June 6: Friday Harbor

I took what was supposed to be an all-day whale-watching tour with Maya's Legacy Whale Watching. However, all the whales had retreated to Canadian waters, which we were not allowed to enter due to COVID restrictions. Due to that and the poor weather, the trip was cut short and we got a partial refund. We did see a variety of other wildlife though.

Rental cars were $200/day at Bremerton! So I flew to Gig Harbor instead where rates were only $80/day. After landing, I drove out to have a look at Big Beef Harbor from the ground.
