Churchill Trip : June 23 - July 11, 2019

Part 2 - Churchill

June 28: Winnipeg to Churchill

On the way north from Winnipeg, I landed at Gimli Airport just because. From there it was on to Gillam for fuel before making an IFR flight to Churchill.

June 30: Churchill

Still on foot, I walked out to Cape Merry with a group, then hung around the granary ponds until some thunderstorms rolled in. I didn't realize the red Adirondack (Muskoka) chairs were a thing in Canadian National Parks and Historical Sites until later. They were added for Canada's 150th anniversary a couple years ago.
