Delta II 7920-10C JPSS-1 launch
Vandenberg SLC2 : November 18, 2017

This was the penultimate Delta II launch, and the last using the 9 booster configuration. The payload was a NASA/NOAA weather satellite.

November 15 scrub

After a launch scrub due to high upper level winds, most of the restricted airspace went cold and I was able to overfly the launch pad! I couldn't help feeling like I just wasn't supposed to be there. The rocket was still "steaming" from the LO2 fuel that was being offloaded.
