On the way back into town, I found the even more aptly named Salmon Creek. There were a tremendous number of salmon, eagles, and gulls gathered. A 15.9 foot high tide at 9:23p was coming in, which was driving the birds off.
I spent much of the day at Salmon Creek. A 12.9 foot high tide at 10:28a was to be followed by a 3.5 foot low tide at 4:12p, so after all the eagles left in the morning, I did some gift shopping in town and came back as the tide was going back out.
